How it works

How the color personality test works

Here is how we give points, show close scores, and keep your answers private.

Twenty questions

Each question shows an everyday situation and five possible answers. Each answer belongs to one color. We change the answer order, so A does not always mean the same color.

Every answer adds one point. At the end, we turn the points into percentages for all five colors.

Close scores

If your top two colors are only one point apart, we show both. If three or more colors are very close, we call the result balanced.

Your privacy

The result is worked out in your browser. You do not need to give us your name or email. Your browser may save your progress so a refresh does not erase it.

What this test cannot do

This is not a medical or science test. Do not use it for hiring, health care, school placement, legal choices, or relationship decisions.

Other color tests

Other tests may use the same color names with different meanings. We wrote this quiz ourselves. It is not connected to True Colors, Color Code, Insights Discovery, DISC, or the Lüscher test.
